Hi,
i am currently sourcing for USB data bundles from any of the mobile subscribers. I was wondering if i d a lot of torrent downloads and browsing, which is the best subscriber, with unlimited monthly bundles in Nairobi and out of Nairobi (mostly Naivasha) Also, how much will the modem plus the bundle cost?

but during the day BOTH networks SUCK big time such that i cannot even streak youtube videos ..

Airtel anytime. The 250 a week is for mo-phones thus you'll never finish downloading anything significant.

if in nairobi or kisumu(from experience) or mombasa from their adverts buy the black orange modem. for other towns its frustrating.

if you looking for unlimited internet go for orange EVDO modem..the weekly unlimited(uncapped) is 1200/=the airtel daily bundles also looks good,is it capped? most unlimited are either capped except. Before deciding give the customer care a call to confirm the speeds and size...the weekly for orange mobile is capped at 500mb

Airtel unlimited is back (Blaze is gone). Can't seem to find anything on their FUP but I'm sure they must have one in place now.

Unlimited Internet with Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

Daily: 3GB download limit then speeds throttled to 128 kbps until expiry
Weekly: 15GB download limit then speeds throttled to 128 kbps until expiry
Monthly: 30GB download limit then speeds throttled to 128 kbps until expiry

128 kbps = 16 kilobytes/second. Average Airtel speeds in a 3G covered area are approx. 2 mbps = 256 kilobytes/second.
