You are so fast to call your colleague a sycophant just because he/she supports the other candidate. That's their view and they are entitled to their opinion. Why not try to persuade them otherwise with issues and not just tribal veiled statements.
Why not direct all these energies to discussing which political alliance has the best energy policy that will save us from a possible 67% increase in electricity?
I can only imagine the hate that will be on these interwebs come March as the run-off online debates gain momentum.

@Shotgun, unfortunately thats what the politics of this country have always been. First it was their dads dividing us on tribal grounds, now its their Son's and very soon it will be their grandsons.
Policies and manifestos are useless, its all about tribe or clan and money.
