I Hope this guy will accept defeat this time if he looses. There is alot of hyped activities emanating from the CORD brigade designed to evoke emotions in a similar manner witinessed in 2007

He seem's to be heeding Mutahi Ngunyi's free advice. Stop Njumbirii from winning first round by all means. Wheather he'll succeed, only Isaac Husein will tell us in 10days time.

May Peace be with us all

The script seems to be playing out nicely....I was in town and there were demonstrations along Harambee avenue about "Kimemia stop harassing CJ", "Dont rig elections" etc...emotions are rising...God have mercy on us.

Mmmmmmmm. Very interesting..

Does OAR mean to say that calling for peace meetings is illegal and camouflaged as political campaign meetings?

I think not. This time round the executive will not simply sit down and watch politicians raise the temperatures to the level that saw violence in 07/08. The country is more important.

So my message to Kimemia is:- Pls go ahead with your peace campaigns, so the country can hold the elections peacefully.

As to the resignation call, i have not heard anything from the appointing authority, so this is just that.....

@Jaina, elections need to be seen as fair, and should be fair...certain things are not adding up (just like they did back in 2007)...the holders of power seem to want to cling to it BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY (and then tell us to report back to the system, which they designed...you realize some of the appointments Baks made went against the National accord, but we have to sit back and accept)

What is not adding up? Kimemia telling Provincial Admin to hold peace campaigns or the call by RAO that they are purpoted political campaigns? Don't you know at this juncture PEACE is very very important and we should use any machinery to ensure it's attained? And what does RAOs call for resignation have got to do with appointments through the National Accord? These are the things that are just whipping up emotions and could be unfounded. If you want free and fair elections, it doesn't help crying wolf anytime.
