you will be shocked coz this will come back to haunt COARD. It's a desperate attempt to save themselves from sinking. Who doesn't know CJ is CORDED? Who does Mungiki back these days? Why didn't CJ report the matter to police? Why the delay to table this letter? Hard questions that need answers.

Even wako here rubbishes the rigging claims

Before you burst a vein, do the following.

1. Print the entire statement by the CJ
2. Take a pen and a ruler
3. READ each sentence with the pen and ruler as your guide
4. UNDERSTAND what the statement said
5. Take a viceroy
6. Take a shower
7. Come back here and post

@mnadii...read what i wrote carefully. During my years as a civil servant there were such laws and thats a fact. As to whether the laws have been changed, its up to you to go find out.

The Judiciary is allocated funds and it uses it as it deems fit. On security, the CJ may just inform, say the NSIS of where he'll be at a particular time so as to be accorded security. This is not the same as seeking permission to travel (which you seem to suggest).
Pls read the CJ's statement carefully and realize that even the Immigration official who stopped him did not have a circular that included the CJ as one of the persons to seek clearance from Kimemia.
What grates me more is that you don't pause to think that, given the office and even the experience the CJ has over the years, he must have weighed what he says!
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

Problem with people:
-They read only one sentence from a statement
-They even misunderstand what that sentence says
-Then they go ahead and make verbose statements without any exercise of intellect.

@mnadii..please expound on what you mean by 'What grates me more is that you don't pause to think that, given the office and even the experience the CJ has over the years, he must have weighed what he says! '
I have no issue with the CJ giving the immigration officer a lesson or 2 on VIP travel.
Relax, its never that serious with politics. Take this as a learning experience . Come 5th March, lets embrace whoever wins and we move on with life.

way forward...

1) Police / CID to investigate letter under new constitutional powers and tell us its origin. The origin should then be prosecuted by the DPP.

2) Kimemia to clear air if he has indeed asked that the CJ gets clearance from OP before travel and if so the basis under the law. AND THERE SHOULD BE A BASIS otherwise this will be harassment and punishable under the law.

3) Immigration ministry to explain why its officials stopped the CJ (If they ever did so) and under whose instructions and the law under which they did this.
If no basis then DPP should prosecute them.
If CJ is not telling the truth, then he should be prosecuted for dangerous utterances.

Then we can know who did what and why. Before this is done, we will only politic and raise political temperatures.

It's good that you finally sobered up.

Hehe. Serious online skirmishes hapa. As I mentioned several weeks ago, kama hauna passport before March 4th, ole wako. Can you really fault the sonkos flying their families out of the country? We can all see a developing Armageddon in the horizon. There are leaders who can and will burn down the entire country if that is what it will take to rule for 5 minutes. Take that to your nearest ekwete.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

The same officer you awarded a medal to? Be gracious and apologize for misquoting some decade-old circular.
