Public Service boss Francis Kimemia accuses the Internal Security ministry officials of handling the tender unprofessionally and making a killing out of the corruption.

Mr Kimemia said the Sh18 billion quoted as the face value of the project was double the fair cost of the police equipment.

The project, which was backed by the Chinese government and confined to Beijing firms, was ironically at the centre of the Anglo Leasing scandal.
