You know I was bullied to the extent of never wanting to work under a manager bearing the same name as my bully.There's an offer coming my way but I dread the thought of taking it up because the manager is a big woman bearing my bully's name.I feel like they come from same family.Mind you it happened few years back not recently.

I do not understand what satifaction people derive from creating hell for others.Sadists.
They make you feel hopless,worthless,hate work environment and feel like to quiting.
I compensated by working very hard and ignoring but it became worse when she realised that I wasn't giving up.

Phew what a relief that was.Tonnes of pain.
Mehn I had grown soo thin cz of that woman.
She never dared me again.
I learnt never to act Mother Theresa in office because people take advantage of you so bad.

It's called to bend your back...,as someone has advised above be professional and don't smile,hio ya mawinder though sounds perfect can be folloed by a perfect investigation na mara hiyo hiyo kamiti ndani,there hakuna kwa hisani you have to bend....

@AlphDoti - Under good conditions your solution sounds good.It worked for a friend and she actually got promoted when things got really bad because she back herself up.But Angelica_Ann brings in a good point,not everyone works under such conditions.

@essyk - Sorry for your frustrations. Hahaha...can't believe she became worse when you did even better.Bullies perplex me too. Hope you don't pass up on the opportunity.

People only treat you the way you teach them or allow them to treat you.

Bullies are insecure people and the only way is to put others down. You'll find that she's bullied at home by her husband or was put down by her father. The secret is not to give them room or space to control you. They get angry and will move to someone else after all, all the worst they can do is get you fired which is better than losing your dignity.

BBI will solve it :)
