I once had such a manager. It reached a point,I couldn't take it anymore.I got some investigators and they brought me information on the manager and the ceo.I then send someone to tell the ceo how the manager brags that he is wealthy, how he tells people that the ceo's dad was a watchman, how he tells people that the ceo has a son with his former housegirl and how he has planted charms in the ceo's office although for this I liaised with a cleaner who put a tree bark at a location in the office. The ceo was shocked at the information and from then sat on the manager and 3 months later,he was sacked.

Pray Pray Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

I missed this part.Honestly Mawinder?

Yes,and the tree bark was just to prove my false accusations, the ceo was scared but I was smiling inwardly. The informer later was rewarded with a plum job.

@mawinder you're nuts!!! How did I miss this thread?

I think you just have to stand up for these fools and don't let them bully you.

However, if it is your boss, then you need another strategy i.e.
1). Be very organized
2). keep track of everything emails
3). Manage your boss as follows:
4). when he/she asks you to do something at 8am take note of that,
5). when he/she calls you at 8:30am for another job remind him of the 1st job that started at 8am and was taking 2hrs,
6). Let him/her choose whether to stop working on the 1st job or not.
7). If he says drop no.1 and embark on no.2, remind him/that you after you're done with no.2, you will need 1h 30mins later to complete no.1, which was only 30mins through.
8). Repeat (5) to (7) for job no.3, 4, ...n
9). When total time for the jobs in that day => 8 hours, raise a flag and tell your boss that so far all these jobs will take more than today!!
10). Let him decide
11). when you go back to your desk, summarize what you just discussed and agreed with him/her on email and send saying "As discussed..." and copy his/her boss, then smile and get on with work, kubaff Dancing

Don't be rude, don't argue, don't smile, but just be professional.

"One time, I was too depressed, that I thought of ganging up with 3 fellow workmates, wear black hoods and wait for the bully in the lift late evening so we could give her a beating or tie her to a tree and just go home."

I know of such an incident... Guy was roughed up in a dark toilet. I think he mellowed after that.

@alphadoti, nice reply but some bosses dont give you time to explain yourself. how will you explain that you are not yet through with this and that.

Your 'kubaff' looks sarcastic whereas you are advocating that the oppressed should not be rube - the two dont reconcile!

We have another mama in our office you drop out of school in form 2 but to compensate for that she has the bosses hears, eyes and .. b*lls. it is your word against her and she always carries the day. she joined in September last year and i gave last month.

Get others to do it,they will be too willing and may even go with the bully's car or household possessions and deal with him once and for all, otherwise you may be in trouble with the law

I was the one being bullied in meetings infront of my juniors just coz I was more qualified than the guy and my star was shining.I had to fix the guy or else I would have been sacked and by then I was weak financially with too much debt.
