Recently noted the latter really busy stocking food joints and the streets with a range of flavors. Where will this leave the 2 American giants books finally? Could this be another real business opportunity for kenyans? Ati Pepsi now @ 23/- like Coke. Have yu ever bought Coke @ 23/- really?? Who is politriking here. Will coke, like EABL pull the Joker on Pricing? This is getting interesting...

I think Pepsi will have to come with a different strategy rather than just price cutting. Although practically speaking it might be viable product loyalty might play a big role.

And which listed firm(s) is(are) set to lose or gain in this price war;
1. Centum -Lose - Own a chunk of Coke,
2. Carbacid -Lose - Supply of CO2 to coke,
3.
4.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

I like the way you connect the dots. One is better off drinking a glass of poison.

Lower soda price means taking more liters of soda, leading to obesity and for the unlucky one like me, diabetes.

You can jaza pengo for the rest.

Due to drop in sales volumes?
Quote:
PepsiCo, which is opening a Sh2.6 billion plant in Nairobi’s Ruaraka area on Monday, is selling six flavours of its 350ml drinks at Sh23, translating to more volume for consumers at the same price as Coca-Cola’s Sh300ml bottles.
Will the local mwananchi understand the reasoning behind Vol & Price ??? I dont think so... I wish these Pepsi would go the coke way.... The Kadogo Economy. Coke used to stock sodas costing as little as 15/-. What happened???

@Dunkang, Sorry bro.

I think Carbacid will gain and not lose as their sales will increase!! The lost sale to coca cola will be marginal and will be offset by the increase in sale to pepsi.
