As you put it, if the crowds there translated to the 35% of Meru vote, it would be a steal for CORD in this region, ama what do u think. Nobody expects an outright win here for CORD

20% on the higher side. Most likely to range btwn 10 and 15%.

Now imagine CORD in the urban Kiambu areas getting 15%. This would be 15%of 860,000. 129,000 votes assuming 100% turnout! But they wont campaign in 45, Kahawa, Ruiru, Thika Kiambu, Ruaka and Kikuyu areas coz Mutahi Ngunyi has zoned the entire county for njumbirii.

and this elections in my small spreadsheet is going to be decided by less than 400K votes

Has it ever crossed your minds that a person of Uhuru's or Raila's stature would attract some crowd wherever they went in kenya? Of course the people want to see the PM and Kenyatta's son just the same why people went to see Moi wherever he passed. We are analysing so much....

But they should not attract a mammoth crowd especially in areas perceived to be enemy land and for the people they see daily on TVs.

First i will condemn this. There is no point kwenda rally and then heckle and throw stones.A better way to protest would be maybe to just walk away.

Having said that , yesterday,in Laare, Kalemebe Ndile tried going after UK and land issue, the crowd started walking away.

So the Premier decided to do it Embu today- then you have to question the advisors and the strategy here- Of all policies that they would have sold to people of eastern, was land one of them?

What is the point of rubbing it in to people,if it really votes that you want, they can surely be won in another persuasion that ain't land.

But then who am I to say what people should and should not say ? I thought this is what strategists are highered to do ?

I hope will UK goes to the Premiers turf,he will not start talking about kazi kwa vijana funds, mollases etc- it will not earn him any votes.

most of the kenyans who go for these rallies are the jobless ones (ok except McDoba) and they are the majority.

Why not just state how he plans to reform land
tenure rather than critique his opponent.
Let the pple judge whose plan iss superior.. Nkt

Why incite people about land? Rao is precipitating violence by speaking about land reforms to people who are extremely sensitive to land!
