The debate was yet another sign that the church too is deeply immersed in illusions.

This is too bad.

honestly if you want to learn how not to moderate, how to look horribly annoying and how to have no questions to ask, ask this lady moderator. Can someone tell her the constitution was passed 2 years ago? Where did they get her from? There are so many great christian radio presenters. Huyu walitoa wapi.

I've even switched to watch Discovery channel.

on the topics discussed, this is not by the moderator. It is the church pushing their agenda. Both WSR and Osumba claim they received the invite late. Planning issues!

Then the church is doing Kenyans a disservice. These our leaders, not the church's leaders. Next time instead of using the national broadcaster to push their agenda, they should try family tv and gbs.

This is a shameful show of grandiose by the church.

What do they expect these fellows to say

"Listen gentlemen, I hate the church. Infact, every law I ever make including the constitution will be made to destroy the church"

Total upus.

@digitek1 obviously what we used as colgate and what you did are totally different things.

ARROGANCE, ARROGANCE, ARROGANCE

Why do you look down at people like that? You think all the church leaders and Christians who follow them are are wrong? what makes you so puffed up?

Pride comes before a fall.

Yeah, the church has its interests too...

I noted how they made Education Act a big issue especially the issue of who runs the schools(mission schools) and role of stakeholders.

Let them be, only problem is making the politicians speak Christianese while they are more comfortable with politicianese which is less kind and more hard hitting.

But we love hard politics of lies and attacks, don't we?

Whose interests does the church have at heart and mind?

Human interest? How was this interest presented? How can an interrogation like that present interest?

The church failed to be a guide and enlightener and instead encouraged fear and lies, and non-negotiation with a secular world.

How are arbotion issues supposed to be met in these times? By simply citing laws that are no longer understood?

The church has done much in the education sector, yes. But what is this business of not seeking new pathways?

I get it. The church's interest is keeping her self image intact even despite evidence to the contrary.

Keeping faith in appearances. Keeping people in chains.
