I wonder how many men here, have tried to win Martha's hand. And in equal measure, how many would like to have her hand.
I don't expect Martha to go 'abegging' for love from men with weak wills to be president!
If she can hold herself high to the extent of running for high office then let her be!

Why is Martha Karua not registering on the radar despite her excellent political record? When someone raises the issues we are refusing to mention, the real factors working against her, we refuse to discuss them openly and sincerely, meanwhile she is registering sub 1% support. Why? Is it because she is a woman, a single woman? Is it realistic for a single woman, or man to seek leadership when people will check to see if you have a spouse then you register 0.2% support and wonder why? Ras Kienyeji Man

So here is my honest view of what is wrong with each of the candidates running for president of the republic of Kenya. I put them in alphabetical order of their popular names:
3.Mather Karua: Not married; I believe that marriage has a way of moderating a person’s character...whenever I do things, I find myself considering whether my actions will embarrass my wife.
I think you hit the iron lady below the belt, unless you know the reason why she separated from her husband (now deceased). Kindly judge her from her record as MP for Gichugu, Cabinet minister and Chair of Nark Kenya. An apology will do. Are you male or female ? I am shocked that @Makerege is also supporting this retrogressive thinking from @ Mukiha. It is unbelievable that he tries to justified to justify it my some advise that he received from an old man ( signifying wisdom) . And we wonder why women feel the need to fight/ jostle for space ? There, you have your answers. Where are the ladies on this forum? Only @ Esskye is airing her views? Marriage is great,so are children and family - and i think we all saw Martha beaming when she was holding her kids child. Who are we to judge her so harshly based on her marital status? Btw,many people think she emerged top in the "debate" Balls by her side or no balls and i mean literal balls DNA ni TNA . I am happy

So here is my honest view of what is wrong with each of the candidates running for president of the republic of Kenya. I put them in alphabetical order of their popular names:
1.Dida: Completely green. Doesn’t have a clue of how to run a government. He is in the race for self entertainment!
2.Kiyapi: Technocrat who doesn’t appreciate the finer points of political balancing acts.
3.Mather Karua: Not married; I believe that marriage has a way of moderating a person’s character...whenever I do things, I find myself considering whether my actions will embarrass my wife.
4.Mudavadi: He doesn’t seem to know of what to do if he becomes president. His "safe pair of hands" slogan reminds me of people who tell you "trust me" - they are always the untrustworthy kind!
5.Muite: Too legalistic in my view. Thinks he can solve all problems using just the law!
6.Peter Kenneth: Idealistic – thinks he can replicate what he did in Gatanga on a national scale; but the nation is a much more complicated matter and he doesn’t seem to appreciate that.
7.Raila: Easily swayed by crowds [remember the “Kibaki anatosho” proclamation made only 16 hours after signing a coalition agreement with Nyachae?]. I can’t trust him to make thoughtful decisions.
8.Uhuru: Easily swayed by his close associates [remember the shetanis that told him to give way for Mudavadi?]. He is not “his own man”. I can’t trust him to make independent decisions.
@Mukiha: How dare you tell the truth like this? Utakiona. "The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth." (Niels Bohr)

Mukiha just said the plain truth about Martha, can't be compared the kind of shyt you throw at Raila everyday in this forum!!!....FACT some of you on one hand hate the west and on the other one want to embrace them when it fits, no wonder she has the highest number of followers on twitter among the presidential candidates, most of them are social media activists!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

If she can hold herself high to the extent of running for high office then let her be! Exactly - and it is not like she does not know the kind of society that we are in. The one ambayo iko na mizizi ndani kama kina @Much know, @Makerege et al and of course ,the originator of this pathetic thread By the way , is Njoki Ndung'u married? On of the celebrated law makers in the former parliament and now a judge of the court of appeal ? I will i were a woman with there kind of balls. I am happy

Who said anything about an old man? Read post number 30 again and you will find that I talked about "a wise man". I never said he was old!!! Goes to prove what O wrote earlier that PEOPLE WILL SEE ONLY WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE. I repeat: I BELIEVE THAT MARRIAGE HAS A WAY OF MODERATING A PERSON’S CHARACTER... WHENEVER I DO THINGS, I FIND MYSELF CONSIDERING WHETHER MY ACTIONS WILL EMBARRASS MY WIFE.Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
