Hi wazuans, I am in urgent need of a valuer who can value land and more importantly the agricultural produce on it. The task is to produce a valuation report dating back 12 years on a 7.85Acre parcel of land with pineapples growing. Whereas I am able to do estimates, I cannot produce an authoritative, unbiased report fit to be filed in court, so the valuer needs to be registered and needs to be able to do his/her job well above board. Land produce was attached - the plaintiff has overstayed their allocated time and are justifying it on not having recovered enough from the produce. This is purely because they expect my mzee to be ignorant of the proper process. What we need therefore to prove is that the value of the agricultural produce far exceeds what they have declared in their court returns/accounts at the end of the period of attachment. This will prove that they recovered over and above the decretal sum and hence should immediately leave the land.

DAO rates are EXTREEEMLY low. The last time i was compensating farmers for a pipeline project, the farmers nearly stoned me. Though the DAO are the only authority in crops valuation.

DITTO!! but a small bribe may be able to change a lot.Remember these are guys who earn a gross of 70k and a net of as low as 6k so they can always be compromised.
