@SimonKabz, tell us who funded the Thika Rd project. As far as i know;

- LOT I - Funded by GoK and AfDB. Built by Wu Yi. Supervised by Indian Consulting Engineers and APEC. I.e. CBD-Muthaiga section.

- LOT II - Funded by GoK and AfDB. Built by Sinohydro. Supervised by Indian and APEC. I.e. Muthaiga-K.U section.

- LOT III - Funded by CHINA. Built by Shengli. Supervised by Indian and APEC. I.e. K.U-Thika section.

While at it, also tell us how much EU firms had bidded to do the road.

I know u travel and know what Sogea Satom did with Mai Mahiu-Naivasha-Lanet Road funded by E.U. Supervised by Mouchel Parkman

The people who frequent Wazua.co.ke are less than 500. Even if you convinced them which is hard given the wazua poll taken recently, it will be hard to convince the masses.

If you have any message to pass about how Kenyans should vote...Please call rallies like this one held in Meru county....where some people here in wazua think the vote is divided.

PRECISELY. Thika Road was funded largely using long term loans that we shall eventually pay back using revenue earned from our trade with the west among other sources. This is basic knowledge or so I thought! So, simply stated, China did not give us anything for free, not even some business to enable us repay the small loan they gave us. Infact, to state it crudely, they further emptied our coffers.

I still insist, we cannot survive in the modern world system without the west and that is a fact! Even the TNA brigade knows this, only that it's DENIAL TIME! Even their inspiration, Comrade Bob, knows it, the only secret to survive without ANY association with the ever crafty mzungu is to TAKE THE COUNTRY TO STONE AGE! Inspiring indeed!

People. You must realize that Kenya is not any other country. This is a country that hold the region together 9 other countries in the region.

-Kibaki should go back to where he was born - In othaya.
-Raila should go back to where he was born - Siaya.
-Uhuru should go back to where he was born - STATE HOUSE.




I like this argument. The days when the west would sneeze and the rest of the world catches a cold are about to end. Even with the world recession hitting US so hard in the last 5/6 years, Kenya was hardly affected.
