Someone summarized it well, Most of us attend different churches but this has never been an issue. You'll not find A who is a catholic 'hating' B who is an SDA. Wait till the 2 realize one is Jubilant and the other Corded.........

I wish next time the front runners would come from small communities. No Luhya, luo, kikuyu, kalenjin or Kamba.

By the way, do you believe the Kikuyu's would warm up to a candidate from another tribe, even from the same luo tribe, once Rao is gone?
I find this idea plausible, though ironical. Anyway, it would be nice if the frontrunners came from the small tribes in the next elections.

The UK high commissioner is very clearly referring to cord because of explicit incitement on land issues where Britain/British citizens have huge interest.

your ears will only hear what you want to hear....
Its only in Africa that Fourty million people will subject themselves to suffering and embarassment because of two people.. No wonder our intelligence is always questioned

I also say you hear what you want, i am extremely sure he was referring to cord and incitement on land which IG/Church/Politicians/Civil bodies/Mau Mau veterans are up in arms about, you think otherwise. You are in essence camaigning for cord by insinuating their comments are directed at jubilee! Why should i stand aside and look?

And your eyes will only see and read what you want to see and read... i have not mentioned any political party . am not surprised you saw CORD and JUBILEE

haha extremely sure indeed!

Your work will form a large part of your life the only way to be trully satisfied is to love what you do.

Imagine if a pokomo was running against a Turkana. That is how we'll start debating on issues.

This is giving too much credit to OAR, to imagine that he can pull strings to an extent that the US government can issue a statement in his favour is laughable.

But come to think of it, if he can control the US, ICC, EU etc what more do you want in a president.

Any choice made will have consequences. For some positive for other negative. They are consequences all the same. A raila or Uhuru or PK's win will not necessarily mean that we shall have perpetual bliss! Kenyans should be left to vote for their leaders whoever they want.

And i doubt those who want to protect us from ourselves really care about our welfare. They are trying to protect their interests.

There is a short history lesson l like to provide for our youngsters in Kenya, every time we approach a general election.

In the 1980s, Daniel arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki led the same government. In the 1990s and in 2002, they were on opposite sides, and vociferously so. In 2007, they were together again, praising each other’s statesmanship.

In the 1980s, Moi and Kibaki were leading the government that was routinely locking up Raila Odinga. In the 1990s, Moi, Kibaki and Raila were all on different sides.

Before 2002, Raila was with Moi against Kibaki. In 2002, Raila was with Kibaki against Moi and his chosen successor, Uhuru Kenyatta.

In 2005 Raila led the constitutional referendum vote against Kibaki, with Moi’s support. In 2007, Raila was Kibaki’s main challenger for the presidency. Moi was on Kibaki’s side.

In 2002, Uhuru Kenyatta was with Moi, pitted against Kibaki and Raila. In 2005, he was with Raila but against Kibaki. In 2007 he left Raila and joined the Kibaki camp. In 2013 Uhuru is pitted against Raila.

In the 1990s, Kalonzo Musyoka was firmly with Moi and Uhuru, fighting Raila and Kibaki. In 2002, he was with Raila and Kibaki, fighting Moi and Uhuru. In 2005, he was with Moi, Raila, and Uhuru, fighting Kibaki. In 2007, he famously abandoned Raila and joined the Kibaki government. In 2013 he has returned to Raila’s side.

In the 1990s, Musalia Mudavadi was firmly with Moi, Kalonzo and Uhuru, fighting Raila and Kibaki. In 2002 he was with Moi and Uhuru against Raila, Kalonzo and Kibaki. In 2005 he was with Raila, Kalonzo, Uhuru and Moi, fighting Kibaki. In 2007, he was firmly with Raila, fighting Kalonzo, Kibaki, Uhuru and Moi. In 2013, he is back with Moi but fighting Raila and Uhuru.

In the 1990s, William Ruto was a stalwart of the Moi regime with Uhuru, Musalia and Kalonzo, fighting Raila and Kibaki. In 2007 he was by Raila and Musalia’s side, fighting Kibaki, Uhuru and Kalonzo.

In 2013 he is by Uhuru’s side, fighting Raila, Kalonzo and Musalia.

The choice is yours.

If essential contact extends to withdrawing financial support to projects and programmes supporting the economic welfare of kenya and its future generations, then this is very serious and we need not trivialize it. I dont support imposition of a. candidate but the welfare of my country and my children should take priority over blind support for anyone. I am particularly worried about where we will get money to implement key vision 2030 and infrastructure projects if we severe our relations with the west. A few examples:

The French, AFD, have heavily supported electricity generation such as olkaria geothermal projects benefiting hugely. They also support electricity transmission (ketraco) and distribution projects (kenya power) even financing low income communities to enable them connect to the grid. They are also involved in financing the ongoing expansion at JKIA and soon at Moi airport in Mombasa. I wonder where the projects will get funding from if these guys withdraw.

The European UNion is also funding the expansion of the road network and several water and sanitation projects. What happens to these if they pull out?The Chinese will not fund these projects if a Chinese Contractor is not given the job, and we know what is happening to the subways and railways they are building in China. The European Investment Bank is one of the largest providers of long term funds to SMEs in Kenya which create thousands of jobs. If they stop funding such key engines of growth, because of stupid political decisions, who is to blame? The world bank pulled out of the Nairobi southern bypass financing due to their policy on who can receive their funding ( some crooks, with questionable reputation were to be part of the project ownership). With kenyans low economic development, high unemployment, we need all development partners to be able to achieve our vision objectives. How stupid will we be if come 5 March the shilling goes to 200 to the dollar, electricity, fuel and other basic commodity prices sky rocket? the water, roads, jobs situation worsens all because of voting two guys who are putting their interests before those of 44 million Kenyans?

As long as you're going to be thinking anyway, think big

We are stupid already. Kwani voting these two fellows will mean the end of the world? Does it mean that the country will cease to exist. it is such kind of cowardice that has put us to wherever we are. Poor!!

I am pretty sure wherever these jungus are behind the scene, they are just popping up champagne and laughing out loudly saying, "Look at how stupid these Kenyans are. They are a complete bunch of idiots!"
