During 2007 and early 2008,KTN/Standard were so subjective in their coverage of political issues and actually gave certain politicians enough airtime to vent their vitriol and stir up emotions - when it came to published opinion polls,they sought to use such polls to shape opinion rather than let the facts speak for themselves (i.e. a measure of opions) - It was without doubt very irresponsible journalism and marginally better than that Rwandese Radio station - of course by mid 2008 they changed their stance and actually started biting the hand that it hoped would 'feed' it...Don't blame SimonKabz for saying what many must be thinking or have thought at some point in time...

I have read worse comments,some bordering on treason,wishing the death of the president and openly abusing him,destroying the mpigs stable etc. I suppose these r much more serious stuff threatening the very stability of this nation bt very few raised a finger. Double standards?? As far as im concerned,std gp is not a critical media hse,nowhere close to nation or royal media. Again,not all of their news is bad,bt it has done this country more harm than good....

@simonkabz - You realise that whereas many of the MPigs bring 'hate' onto themselves. When Kenyans (you & I) pay taxes,they pay a fraction of what they (except a few brave souls) should. They feed at the trough while making comments like 'I cant drive a teenager's car'. Most Kenyans (I am included) would not cry if the non-taxpaying MPigs got abducted by aliens... Please include moi & his pals in this group!
*** What hurts me the loss of life & property of INNOCENT Kenyans... the US Embassy bombing killed mostly INNOCENT Kenyans... Or the 2008 killings... most who died were probably just trying to make a decent (& honest) living...
