Its too early for her to start this. She should have known better when she took over cases that didnt have strong base for prosecution. Ocampo really screwed her

ICC lost the plot when people learnt that witnesses would be taken to safe houses in USA and Europe. Every opportunist saw the chance to become a witness. If what is being said in the blogs about Witness #4 is true, then Ocampo did a really shoddy Job and Bensouda will have a hell of time. In her words, the Kenya case is becoming really tough!

My thoughts exactly!

What was the hurry to take up Kabutu as a witness without a background check. If they did, they would have known that he's once been hired by evangelists to simulate a miracle of a cripple healed by the power of prayers. Apparently a very good actor this man is smile

She has enough reason to cry. With witness No. 4 recanting his statement, witness No. 2, 10, 11, 14 and many others who were supposedly in contact with witness No. 4 will have to scamper. How do you defend a story when your partner in crime has bolted? Think about that. The plot has collapsed.

She said partly for this reason, the Kenya case was turning out to be one of the most challenging before The Hague court currently.

That says it all. Its like she is preparing us mentally for a loss. Kweli yote yawezekana popote wakenya wako involved..

And infact, there could be other reasons that are making the case hard. The witness issue is "partly" to blame!

Check this video, at 0.30. That could be the reason Bensouda is confused as to which direction to take.
