Are this exit or entry volume????? Whoever is buying KCB @35Kshs and Athi River Mining at 61Kshs what are they expecting to reap and after how long. Buoyed by robust trading, turnover soared to Kes.2.14bn on a hefty tally of 79M shares, up
from Kes.452M on 16M shares posted yesterday.

Market capitalization stood at Kes.1.42 trillion.

... The NSE 20 Share Index gained 38.63 points to stand at 4561.16.
All share Index (NASI) was up 0.84 points to stand at 106.23.

FTSE NSE Kenya 15 Index was up 1.32 points to stand at 139.71.
FTSE NSE Kenya 25 Index was up 1.30 points to stand at 143.12.

@4561 NSE20 has vaulted past 4553 former 2013 high.

For a proper slaughter to happen, plenty of wanjikus need to be extreme bullish. Many of them walked out in 2011. They're yet to troop back in droves. The bull needs to ramp up further to induce panic buying. I don't see those signs yet...

True..telling the way the market will go is indeed tougher than rocket science.I took a decision to get out of cash in December, spreading my buys on my two target counters over four months(25% per month).I am looking at the board today and regret my buying price limits are being broken yet i am still 30% in cash!

Tuko wengi.
The bad thing is that this cash is 'idling' in the bank yet the bank stock i offloaded has gained 22 percent and still going up.
WAZUANS, what are BUYING at the NSE?

My bets are in Kengen,Cables,HFCK and Access in that order.Kengen and Cables I plan to acquire over years.I'd buy them like I would like to own the companies.I think they have very strong fundamentals and I also think they favor each other. HFCK I like because of real estate.Access is purely because of the net.Might be biased on the future I see in that but I still like it.Can't say how they will perform but both short-term and long-term they are my priorities now.

The Kes.2Bn turnover level has been breached for the first time in more than 3 years boosting the NSE 20 Share Index to
4,561 points. The other indices followed suit marginally gaining to new highs. Foreign investors dominated trades today at
60% but the interesting point is the value that they traded worth Kes.1.28Bn, the highest in more than 2 years. Foreigners
continued shorting Safaricom to the tune of a net outflow of Kes. 116Mn. The NSE has surprised the industry layers with its
strong surge though we expect the momentum to slow down but not the trend. The highly anticipated earnings season may
be the catalyst to push the NSE to higher levels. ditto @genghis capital
