Are you speaking of transitions of 'being' to 'not being' then 'being' again?

Not transition of states but progression.Change.My claim is,a heartbreak can make someone more loving if they desire to be more loving by learning and growing from the heartbreak.But if they choose not to,they regress.

How is transition different from progression in this case?
