This particular one caught my temper;
Jubilee and CORD will give non-refundable grants to 'vijanas'.

]Why are you giving them fish??? NKT!!
When you say it's not refundable, you are clearly saying that you are going to dish out free money!

So, the money will come from where? Have you consulted me, the tax payer who will foot the wages of this bloated government, the pledges you are making, pay CBK bond investors (with interest) and the massive donor loans you intend to borrow with interest?

Have you not figured out that some of these 'vijanas' commit crime because they are lazy to do real work? There are 'vijanas' earning good money from the Dandora waste garbage site.

BBI will solve it
:)

The idea is to outdo each other on promises but not delivery.

If either of these two deliver even 1% of what they promise, I'll eat my hat!

It is basic economics that this free grants / interest free loans will lead to rise in inflation.

Now we are talking! I saw an article on Sun about how electorate is fond of exhibiting a Stockholm Syndrome - psychological phenomenon when hostages exhibit strong positive feelings towards their captors -

There's not that much difference between Raila/Uhuru or PK/Martha. Alas, a politician is only a politician.

I really hope that this is a misquote, because this should not come from someone who went to school to a satisfactory level and is educated enough to know that this kind of grant would do more harm than good.
Thank God it's a promise by a politician and it will most likely never see the light of day.
