I will go first ... Court declares duo unfit. An appeal is filed speedily. IEBC postpones the election via order of the court till the appeal is resolved and MK stays on till May or June.

Would "Justice delayed is justice denied" suffice in this case? I guess next week Friday means further delays to their supporters and the duo, this should leave them with little choice other than to throw out these case. Irritant!

Taking some time to research and consider arguments before entering a judgment is standard practice the world over ...and 1 week sounds about right in a case of this magnitude. Hakuna justice delayed hapa

My take

Tricky affair!

Court might find the duo unfit to run, with only 16days to D/day!

IEBC would be put in dilemma as they have already printed the Ballot paper.

The duo attempt an appeal which might take another 10days to be determined.

In the meantime, No postponement of elections!

Clock ticks towards ICC meet.

At this point in time the complexities are legion - walking a tight rope.

Msagha and co require Solomonic wisdom.

Ditto!!They fulfill all the requirements in the katiba on the eligibility to run.IMO,the suit is premature and should have been filed after they are elected i.e once they become state officers.

this far they have come just to be told they cannot run for elections by some silly court somewhere . Woi . That will never happen !
