The Chief Justice Willy Mutunga had to strongly hit out at Prime Minister Raila Odinga for issuing public remarks he termed as demeaning to the Kenyan courts. This at a time when the public regards the Judiciary as one of the most trusted institutions.

Mutunga was referring to the PM remarks in the media that a court that led the IEBC to set this March 4th as the next general elections date. The PM called these courts 'mahakama bandia'.

Mutunga reminded the PM that if he feels dissatisfied by the court's ruling on the election date he should seek legal redress as opposed to disparaging the court through name calling.

US President Obama in his message to Kenyans today has asked us to resolve any disputes in court.

As one of the two strong candidates in this election, in the event he lost this election, do you trust OAR to seek redress in the same courts he referred to as 'mahakama bandia' let alone uphold their independence.

Vote Wisely.

Had RAO gone to court after the 2007 elections we would be having:

1. The old constitution
2. Still 1,500 dead kenyans from post election violence (as many have said here the deaths had nothing to do with elections)
3. A 100 year old Evan Gicheru as the Chief Justice
4. The upcoming election would be under kihara Mutu

His drastic position has led to soo much tangible benefits for kenyans but as usual some choose to pretend that nothing happened and continue to sing Thika super highway and land reforms.

We finally have a judiciary that is credible and which was NOT Kibaki's choice (remember Alnashir Visram).
I am sure all election disputes will be dealt with in the courts, RAO has gone on record to confirm this and said he will concede defeat if he loses in the upcoming elections.

You can see CORD already conceded defeat in the Wazua elections that were won by one Mr Peter KennethLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly The only thing UHURUTO will win is a shouting march in Wazua
