Lets not sweep certain issues under the Carpet in order to propagate misrepresentation of issues.
The matter of possible sanctions is real and very probable.
The key ingredient for this eventuality is the failure of the Indictees to attend Court as expected by ICC, then Kenya fails to hand them over – which wouldn’t happen if they were the President and his Deputy.
This other stories are mere burying of heads in the sand.
The envoy did not address that, and I am sure if the question was put to him directly that way, he would either deflect it, or tell the truth - that, Kenya would suffer enormously.
Further decisions of this magnitude are reached back home and/or at the UN security council level and the envoys duty is to carry out such decisions as they may touch on his operations.
