If he has any evidence of the above, why not present it to the authorities?
2. What is the intention of OAR in repeatedly bringing up the land issue telling Mr Kenyatta to return 'stolen' land, the 'size of Nyanza' - other than maybe stock tensions between two communities perceived to be supporting the Jubilee candidate? (communities that have always had a history of pre/post election violence ever since the advent of muliti-partyism)
Kenyans, him having been a Principal in the Grand Coalition government, shouldn't we be demanding answers from the Prime Minister as to why he has not been at the forefront of implementing the Land Reforms as part of Agenda 4 instead of him attacking Mr Kenyatta as an individual?
Vote wisely.
I do not see why someone
should have 300, 000 acres. It is
obscene. In fact if this guys don’t
know under Article 61 all land in
Kenya belongs to the people of
Kenya collectively as a Nation and
land is supposed to be used in a
manner that is equitable, efficient,
productive and sustainable.
In rural India, a committee of rural
development ministry on agrarian
land reforms has recommended that
the ceiling imposed on irrigated
lands should be 15-20 hectares and
holdings of non-irrigated lands
should be limited to 10-15 hectares.
To even compound matter that
committee has recommended that
the ceiling limits should be
implemented with retrospective
effect.
Further the panel, headed by the
Union rural development minister,
has also demanded that right to
homestead land and a house should
be enshrined as minimum rights for
the landless. A minimum of 10-15%
of land should be provided for the
landless and homeless in a time-
bound manner with the titles of the
land being made in the name of
women, it suggested. We need
those kind of reforms here.
