investing sh 1 million for 3 months

a friend of mine wants to buy a house in 3 -4 months time

he has sh 1 million in his bank account which he will use as mortgage deposit

which money market fund can he invest in

please advise

Try a pyramid scheme..... Seriously speaking,stocks are out of question. T bills will give you some pocket money. What you need is to invest in some fast moving products.... But this can only work if you are already established in such a business. The best option: maintain status quo.

not at NSE,honestly for 3 months he can only speculate,meaning gaining or lossing,mama mboga biz could be more rewarding..

We fail exams because we don't take time to understand what the examinar is looking for! If isn't interested in stocks but money market. What is money market? May be I'm wrong.

Maintain status quo,or go for a 3 month fixed deposit account. The interest rates are good at the moment.

@ jerry. In adult learning,the use of terminollogies does not necessarily imply that the inquirer is well versed in the subject matter. MONEY MARKETS means different things to different persons. In this instance,I find the responses appropriate. Let the guy pick what suits him.

buy shares dont even consider it.3 months is a short period 2 invest.may be put it in a fixed account but it wont be much.
