KK should have a decent 2H after the horrible 1H. I figure they must have learnt some lessons!

KK tech readings tea leaves - Bearish RSI, bearish stochastics and constricting bollinger bands. Large move ahead, but from the bear chart pattern, downside risks outweight a bullish move. Also falling trendline since topping out @16.40 on Jul 3 2012 has been the guardrail as price slid to current levels. Downside targets 13/- and 12.50/- Breach of 12.50/- will see price dropping to 11/-

Anxiously waiting for those ulcers inducing KK results...
$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Segman used to issue regular updates, wonder what happened. Last year, the full year results were announced on 29th February 2012, so one more month of waiting. KK is my ex and i still stalk it, just incase..........

Not yet agreed on final price, KK want a higher valuation but considering the loss how does one pay a premium;so its at a cross road.perhaps till Q2

@stock.enigma ... LOL, nothing to report but I saw a very nice new Kobil coming up on Nairobi-Limuru-Naivasha highway called Kobil View Point. I will stop by once it is open.

Like I have said, I am a Warren Buffett fan & I can wait. 2H 2012 should be better than 1H but an overall loss for 2012. It seems 2013 is doing a-OK for KK if they keep up the volumes.

Rich view on close of market yesterday - ditto

"KenolKobil traded 4th at the Exchange. KenolKobil firmed 0.7194% to close at 14.00 and traded a 13.90-14.20 range and 2.033m shares worth 28.467m. KenolKobil notwithstanding the deafening Silence remains in a Due Diligence Process with Trafigura's Puma Energy where Puma Energy might make an Offer for KenolKobil. I believe KenolKobil is a strategic Fit for Puma and that a Fair Value Price is well North of 17.65. It seems Someone else might be thinking the same going by todays Pick Up in Activity."
