The one I know is an umbrella body of Cooperative Societies in Kenya,Head office in Upper Hill NRB. Membership is open to individuals as long as you are already with another SACCO. They also offer credit facilities just like the usual SACCOs at 5 times your shares as opposed to 3. Also do longterm financing for mortgage or construction.
