Out TV system is the European standard which is different from American standard.
Next time somebody sends u anything from America tell them to also send u the converter.
That is why electronic products brought to Kenya usually are labelled EMEA (Europe,Middle East and Africa)

@mzeeotivo, I got a good fundi to fix this problem....the brand new HDMI converter is still available for sale.....

You'll need a converter such as one below. This one is good because it can do 720p or 1080p, but it's to HDMI, so if your TV does not have HDMI, you'll need a HDMI to RCA converter.
