This was the first time I ever really 'saw' Sonko.

Dude is not all that he has been cast out to be, IMHO.

Even the interviewer seemed to change her aggressive, typecast, position by the end of the interview. You could almost see her melting when Sonko did that 'defense of poor women' spiel.

Maybe I should give YT2 another chance?

One thing I came away with from this is this:

'The Glory! has a mountain to climb.'

"The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth." (Niels Bohr)

@dobaman, I heard that contradictory line too. And the other one where he said that some women were jailed for unlawful incarceration. Why are we shocked that he quotes the katiba? 1. Perception 2. Most people, including MPs cannot quote it! Only the lawyers n civil society types do.

Dude has tried.....he really prepared and at times was answering his own preset questions.

Funny kenyans get surprised when a law maker quotes the constitution.

My father was very wealthy, I come from a very poor family.....hapo alisahau.

I also realised hio line ya wealthy dad and poor sonko.Hapo mwakenya haikuandikwa vizuri or sonko mwenyewe hakucram vipoa.
Ni poa tu lakini.

Or the family started poor and later became rich courtesy of the father's efforts.

It's pretty evident from the two "debates" between TNA and ODM protagonists that TNA PR team have got their act together.

We need some live debates for this things bana, at least Governor.
