'i divorced it off late last year after it started misbehaving. but of late i have strong urges to rekindle the relationship afresh'.
It has always been my aphorism not to ever get married,divorce or separate and think of ever remarrying the same man. Even relationships are not worth returning to once you differ to the point of splitting.
So,this Suntra story does not make sense. There are better Stocks dealers such as Kestrel Capital,or agents such as Equity or other brokers who are backed by a bank or have been bought out by serious guys.
It is upon us to encourage wayward brokers to die a natural death if posterity was to judge us fairly. A conman is a conman from whatever angle you look at him,whether he becomes saved or not. He ceases to be only when he is six feet under. So let Suntra sink twenty feet under.
'friendly executives (then)'
Conmen tend to be friendly,so don’t deal with them again simply because they are friendly
'and a host of other friendly services they cared to offer'.
The most important service one should expect for his/her investment is security for the same. Whatever the other friendly services you are speaking of are side shows. Period.
'…can i still use the same old accounts at the suntra'.
The account that matters is the CDSC account,it does not change when you change brokers. Any other account is issued by a broker for their own convenience. If you go back to Suntra,you will discover they closed the internal account you had and a new one should be issued to you unless you force them to horse trade with you.
Am surprised you do not have an account with Reliable Securities Brokers. They may seem to be very nice to you and you seem to be there kind.

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases;
It will never pass into nothingness;
But still will keep a bower quiet for us,
and a sleep full of sweet dreams,
and health, and quiet breathing. - Keats
