Without external support, the Al-Shabaab would have been history by now considering the attacks from AMISOM, Kenya and many others. Apparently, Eritrea stands out as the logistical hub of the Al-Shaab. One wonders how exactly it benefits from the rebels.

There was a coup d'etat yesterday in Africa Biggest Prison, Eritrea. Apparently, some 100 prison warders, army, stormed the national tv station and declared the 1996 constitution, Military rule, is back. THE TV STATION HAS BEEN SWITCHED OFF.

The TV station boss, who also happens to be the chief prison warder's daughter, was amongst the people taken hostage.
