Even before Miguna wrote his book, this letter was public knowledge....as quoted by Nation in March 2011....see below

The issue here is that RAO has been growing hot and cold about this matter.... very inconsistent.... and his election promise to have the case referred back home is just that... another promise to get votes.

Liv, I would like to draw your attention to some 20 logical fallacies and in particular the fallacy referred to as non sequiter and the fallacy on argument from authority. http://www.theskepticsgu.../logicalfallacies.aspx.


You have so far not adduced any evidence that RAO has blown hot and cold over the ICC. I have provided you evidence from a verbatim recording of parliamentary proceedings that RAO supported a local tribunal from day 1. I suspect, no I know, that your conclusions are based on feelings about the person of RAO rather than facts.

It will cost Raila votes.Raila has not handled the issue well.He should play clips on what transpired on shitiezen e.g Hague itakuwa 2090,let us not be vague,the parliamentary debates etc.

I hope Rao yoke on Nyanza is waning from what i have seen recently, I believe the election will bring our boy's back home, his opinion never matters as the most populist or power hungry thing under any circumstances is what he will do until he gets real power(even 1/2 bread was not enough), then he will forget populism and serve his communist ego. Therefore it is futile to discuss Raos intention without considering they depend on convenience. But our best boys must come back home, and with Rao influence waning, they will come back.

That is laughable.

1. what does RAO influence on Nyanza have to do with the ICC process?
2. How will the waning of the influence bring the boys home?
3. How can the election outcome influence ICC to reverse its earlier decision on jurisdiction? If you mean that the boys will refuse to cooperate, just say so.
4. Do you understand the difference between a communist and a social democrat? Was Mwalimu Julius Nyerere a communist? Is Nelson Mandela a communist? You need to familiarize yourself with Mcarthism also know as scare mongering (which is what you are practising).

I think its better to for one to say that they just dont like RAO than to look for flimsy unsubstantiated excuses in order to demonise him.

If that was the case then many parties would have held primaries there, those defeated would have defected to other parties at the first opportunity!!!
