The TNA nominations in meru and embu were a low key affair with very low turnout. In meru, peter munya and kiraitu murungi are both in the mbas and are seen as the frontrunners for governor and senator. In embu, lenny kivuti has put together a team to sweep all the seats in the county under mbas party. He is also rumoured to have sponsored very many candidates for mp and county reps in what is billed to be the most expensive campaign seen in embu.

Is it possible that kiraitu murungi has finally managed to declare political autonomy for the embu and meru from their cousins? Could this be the end of GEMA as a political mobilisation tool or is it the end of Kiraitu & co's political careers? Any embian or meruian in the house to shed some light.

@Admin, take this post to the 'just for laugh' thread. Its there that it was initially planned to be posted, but the author was too lazy to look it up.

@dunkang, he he he very funny. Am however open for a bet 10K that APK will sweep Embu and Meru counties.

Meru used to be all baks- fanatical following. I was in the village in Dec and at the time, it seemed that Meru is now a "battle ground " county . Kiraitu might win,and TNA will get votes, but ODM will also get votes in the larger Meru - Tigania etc. Unless something big happens.

Reading today's press, it says 80% of sitting MPigs are back!

Looks like the dustbin will be empty this year...
