4. Beware the know-it-all : The
best leaders are acutely aware of
how much they don’t know. They
have no need to be the smartest
person in the room, but have the
unyielding desire to learn from
others. I’ve often said, leaders who
are not growing cannot lead a
growing enterprise. One of the
hallmarks of great leaders is their
insatiable curiosity. If a leader
isn’t extremely curious about
every aspect of their organization,
trust me when I say there are huge
problems on the horizon.

Baba Yao needs to come up with a good list of issues that he will work on. You dont just dwell on how you have fought land grabbers in the past, you need a realistic plan based on the budget and constitutional roles of a county govt. Same for Kidero. It is good to be a Mangu High alumni and to work for those big corporates but read the law and then give us a good list of issues not lying to us that the police will be under you.

No one cares about issues anymore. Its all about resonating with the electorate. Issues wachia Jim-nah!.

The seat is for YT2 to loose. The Mangu alumni will be humbled come 4th March.

It would be intresting having YT2 Govering Nairobi and Raila as President. Heads will Roll somehow.

'Kidero is 'glasshouse' Waititu is 'grassroots'. Kidero should drop the 'posh politics' and show his majengo DNA. He should throw some stones' - Mutahi again

Some were just waiting for a reason to jump to the Waititu band wagon, they now prefer a county rep kind of person to be governor!!!!

Anyway Kidero should not have openly underestimated Waititu like he did!!!

I really felt for Kidero yesterday. Waititu clearly won the debate and you could see the Twitter love he was getting.

What he got wrong was this, never undermine a "lesser" person.

Even the bible says what you do to the "lesser" people you do to the Lord.

The guy was clearly bashing Waititu while Waititu kept his cool, never bashing back or saying thoughtless comments. This came to show that he could bash people he considers "poor" or "uneducated".

Kidero is brighter I must say, but unfortunately, it seems Waititu will be the first governor of Nairobi.

That interview was a disaster. Waititu came out as a poor communicator in English and Kidero as a snobbish elitist full of himself guy. Julie did a poor job too in convening it. I think Waititu should do Kiswahili interviews only. Things like beat a corner and borrow fire sound very funny in English.

Having lived in Europe for 5yrs, I still can never understand why we Africans have to express ourselves in a language of a people living 9000kms away for us to be 'taken seriously'. For heavens sake Russians express themselves in Russian, the French in French,Germans in German, Chinese in Chinese etc. Why judge YT2's competence on his mastery of the English language? Will he be representing Englishmen as governor? That interview should have been conducted in kiswahili.

After watching Kidero vs Waititu live on Citizen yesterday, it's obvious that it will be a landslide win for Waititu.

I knew Kidero lost it when he started off by bashing Waititu ati Clifford 'alias' Ferdinand. When you are considered a rich elite, your biggest weapon is humility and not arrogance.

Now when it came to the obvious question, what's your plan for Nairobi, Waititu spoke of the basic problems like water and sanitation, schools, hospitals, settlement land and security while Kidero spoke about attracting international investors. Really?!!

This is the time the messengers and the tea guy/lady, watchmen in your offices get to laugh at you/us middle class. This is one game they'll always beat us hands down.

BBI will solve it

Silenced Silenced let's just vote for him.He could be God sent.
Remember this;

Samuel met with Jesse's first seven sons, but God let him know that none of them was the one He had chosen to be Israel's second king.
But “One of Jesse's sons is a talented harp player. Not only that — he is a brave warrior, a man of war, smile and has good judgment.(just keep on praying)

“The Lord said to Samuel, ‘Don't judge by his appearance or height.People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

This man Waititu is unstoppable. Wait until when he now goes full throttle to campaign for the real thing with Sonko and Manzi wa Nai. Once is office, he can then hire the likes Jimnah, Kidero, Muriuki and others to do all what they should have done as professionals but now want to do is as politicians. What stopped Mbaru from doing 500,000 housing units for the poor yet Suraya is doing thousands for the Upper Class without invoking politics?

The stake-holders have spoken and now the steak-holders can now give Baba Yao a break!

You can start it but there's no need as even Jimnah won social media nomination by a landslide but lost the vote.
I hope Kedero has taken lessons from Jimnah's loss. Jimnah had billboards tv and radio commercials and internet while Waititu was on the ground and doing door to door in places that would disgust Jimnah, where the real vote is.

After watching the Citizen TV interview, i was left with question marks for this guy-Kidero that is. I didn't expect anything new from Waititu but for the respect i had for Kidero its all gone.He (Kidero) was more obsessed with irking the opponent with some below the belt remarks, giving history lectures and did one unforgivable mistake in politics "UNDERESTIMATING YOUR OPPONENT"

I was totally anti ferdinand as governor. This is clear evidence how misleading the media is.I half expected waititu to lose it and turn it into a brawl, do the "elite" think yt2 behaves that way coz he's a hooligan or its the quickest way to get things done..that resonates with common mwananchi. Kudos Cliff! You were the better man jana n you won my vote.

Suddenly violence/stone throwing is a virtue besides comical incompetence and ignorance (even Julie could not help laughing and Kidero goofed) being hailed as humbleness. At least Kidero has the upper hand where merit /qualifications matter. This is a job for someone with an architects mind, chief planner, it is closer to rocket science than politics. And Kidero pinpointed the planning failures since after 1973 which probably imcludes yt2 clinic and school businesses. Kidero 80% yt2 21% points for 'humbleness'
