That may not be correct.It is the canecutters whom he appeased by giving them Nokia 1208 mobile phones and paying them via MPESA and ZAP through Family Bank where he has a stake.The farmers claim he manipulated the weighbridge,sacked the locals from Mumias Sugar,sold to them shares at 48 bob only for the prices to come tumbling,refused to harvest burnt cane,constructed a 1.5km road with 400m,introduced DR. which is basically after being financed to grow cane,the company deducts expenditure and the farmer gets a Dr.balance,sold an old mill to West Kenya sugar instead of taking it to Busia and went ahead and sold Busia land,crippled an outgrowers institution by withholding its funds,gave contracts to his cronies,improper promotions and sackings e.g Head Of Sales was a guy who scored a D+ in high school and had only a certificate in computer applications among other accusations.
