the dude has good ideas on the tourism agenda,but failed miserably on this one. how on earth can school kids close for school holidays from April to sept so that they can be available to visit all the tourism sites in Kenya. those of us residing from countryside live literary in the wild,those of us around towns literary walk in walk out to these sites,with or without looooong holidays.

Its not an entirely bad idea though it should not be done for the sake of domestic tourism only. It sort of copies the American system where Kids are away from school over summer. The problem is not many Kids will do the touring thing given most families financial constraints. Moreover some parents would not be comfortable with a three months school break for various reasons.

If its acceptable to Kenyans,let it be.
