Much Know wrote:poundfoolish wrote:Much Know wrote:hata kama mimi ni jubilee, i can never vote yt2 tho he seems set to win nominations, very popular na masufferer, i guess some jubilee will have to vote kidero. I'm looking at the matrices and this Sonko, YT2 thing will make Jubilee loose Nairobi like nobodies business... Yes, they are popular with the masufferers... but in that equations throw in the party card (read tribal politics) and you find that Sonko and YT2 loose half the votes... Then it reaches a point as a 'midro crass' fella i.e the Buruburus, Kileleshwas,Wazuans and the likes... They will remember the drama that is these two clowns and definitely the thinking will be.. 'hapa chini nitatumia kichwa.. Juu ni Uhuruto' so this class of voters wil rather think future (a good Nairobi) than tribal bragging rights.. so this will be a good split (50/50) vote or heavily Kidero's (70/30)As for the wealthy.. what bleating business will they have voting those nincompoops? 100% Kidero.. I never take a bet on anything but on Nairobi with those two.. im willing to take any bet.. Takers? What an analysis! Just an addition,Kidero is more popular with the ordinary masses than Waititu that you can take to Chase bank.Mbaru is the least popular of the three.

@pound, remove Sonko from your list. The boy will win. Or who do you think will beat him? Bishop Bonifes Adoyo? And lets get it clear, the Senator is a rep of the people of a county in the Senate, not a manager or policy maker.

Again, if we get an elitist governer, dawa yake itakuwa sonko. TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

CORD seems un-perturbed by the Nairobi senatorship.. but i bet you big dollar... with the analysis above that Sonko wont get even a third of Kibra votes, Kawangware votes, Kariobangi votes and half of his Mukuru backyard votes. They know their lives havent changed significally with the handouts.. they know he doesnt have enough to feed all the 'vitongoji dunis'... This blocks will vote partywise.. read ethnic Dont forget he won on a weekday and a by-election when the rest of the Buruburus, umoja etc were at work.. This block will vote with their heads.. which tells them Sonko gives handouts to the poor only, while they need estate roads. Anybody worth his name going for this post against Sonko has it.. but he/she needs to work hard to counter the guys money.. There is no shortcut to working hard (underestimating Sonko as Ndolo and co. learnt)... and that includes the good rt.Bishop

If Waititu goes thru I'm voting Kidero, if it's Jimnah then I'm voting Jimnah. Reality time, Kidero has my vote but he will lose to Waititu. Just wondering aloud. BBI will solve it :)

The tragedy of democracy is the tyranny of the majority. The majority may be hustlers but their voice is supreme. Until the middle class come out and nominate and vote their choice, they will always be in the minority. You will never see YT2 at the CBD campaigning as he knows where the numbers are. I watched Jimna's launch in Dandora and man it was stale. I would be surprised if we wins the nomination. "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

@pound, like him or hate him Sonko will be the man to beat, keep your dollars. The Umoja, Buru, Zimmer crowd will vote for him. The ethnic card will be to his advantage as he is from a corded community in a jubilee party.
