Am reading strategy! strategy! strategy in the cord wing of ODM, the die hard supporters were bound to loose in the fair nominations.
The old guards were called and promised plum jobs hence allow wanjikus to nominate their preference and the party remains intact for a possible win.
The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence

What strategy ? I read panic mode. What with calling Maggie for an entire day to put it to her head that her papers are scanty?

The Cordashians choice for a senator wasnt strong enough ( Ongoro, Gumo etc)to withstand a Sonko popularity test in Nairobi.

I may be tempted to align with the URP lady (Omanga)

@Kirika i have talked of the wider scheme of ODM and not Gumo only.

You are mixing senator and governor, from whispers the senate seat for Cord is a preserve of Wiper.

Best news I've heard today! Problem is most of these guys have been promised other positions if they step aside like minister and MDs.

BBI will solve it

Thought so too. The cabinet secretaries. Its quite hard for Kenyan politicians to just "quit so as to support..." I wish they are giving a concrete reason....

If this is strategy, then it must have to benefit Mama the Glory.
But, i am convinced that Gumo saw he had no chance.
