i think they did. anyone could vote in CORD primaries (including jubilee members) but TNA will only use their register to allow one to vote.

15:18 Seme constituency ODM Returning officer Christine Ambuye puts off nominations until Friday saying she needs to seek direction from party headquarters.

The announcement came after party supporters frog-marched a councillor to the Kombewa Police Station after allegations he had stashed ballot papers in his house with a view to tilting the outcome of the elections.

15:10 Makueni senatorial hopeful Mutula Kilonzo has said parties were not prepared to carry out primaries

The minister, who is in his rural home in Mbooni constituency, told the Nation in Makueni that the delay in the delivery of voting materials to the polling stations "should not have happened".

"It appears that none of the political parties was aware of the monumental task of carrying out the primaries," said Mr Kilonzo.
