On the account of their discipline and efficiency, Chelsea are worthy 2012 Champions League Winners. I just wonder what their victory does to teams that are more adventurous and like playing the ball more like barca, bayern, etc. For me its some sort of an anticlimax

The luckiest team won,not the best. But winning is all that mattered on the night!
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today!

I suppose lack of 4 regulars particularly Ramires, JT and Ivanovic limited the scope of working for Bayern. Mind you Bayern at home and in a big finale with their crowd edging them on are quite something else and therefore dogged defending and counter attacking made sense.

I however agreed fully with the defensive tactics in Barca. Barca are something else. Anyone who has beaten them in big games has had to play very defensively, real, inter and chelsea. If a team opens themselves up by playing carpet not only do you get rolled with your carpet you also get totally butchered ask Arsenal 2x and Man U 2x. You have to play without possession against Barca to stand a chance

When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

welldone chelsea for winning the champions league. congratulations are in order. seems the ilama's prediction was spot on. Di matteo should be made coach full-time. he knows how to get the best out of drogba, cech and co. chelsea are the most succesfull team in england this season as they lifted 2 major cups.
did man-u win any worthwhile tournament this season? i saw their useless fans hating on chelsea tonite. mezeni wembe. wivu mbaya

As i said earlier, i feel once Di Matteo is confirmed, the wheels will start coming off.
I will wait and see.

And it came to pass.
Chelsea picked pockets on their way to winning Champs League.
Good riddance.
