Let him enjoy while he lives. He has also worked tirelessly for Kenya over the years, humiliated by Moi, OAR and Mama. Let him be!

He doesn't eat much choice.Boiling maize and mihogoo requires no trained cook.

@kamundu, your numbers are not accurate.

substandard breaks it down HERE

it's ok for a retiring president who has peformed and is willing to leave office, after all how many are we going to have in say 50 years? The nonsense was all those MPIGs awarding themselves and they still want to come back on March the 4th after doing absolutely nothing for 5yrs!!

I think she's satisfied with a hospital named after her and a choir featured repeatedly on KBC

@ all

As much Obako deserves it, it is too huge an amount. I wonder what "hatuwesmake" (best candidate of the pack but won't make it coz of Kenyan voting patterns) will do in 2032 when he's elected.

Ama we should be electing old presidents who don't have much "mileage" left?

24m lumpsum is peanuts after 50yrs on the job as minister/vice president/president. Can't even buy him a decent house in Nairobi, maybe a flat in Kilimani. Luckily for him he already has a home.
