Prophecies are spoken out of faith in what someone has heard from the Lord. Sometimes, and I repeat sometimes personal judgments may cloud a particular word given to a prophet. This may give an erratic impression of God's intent but does not necessarily invalidate the prophet.

In the 2012 US election two very credible prophets Dutch Sheets and Cindy Jacobs prophecied a win for Mitt Romney. Both accepted their error.

Scripture tells us to test all things we hear.

@Mukiri, as a young gal you attend those crusades at Uhuru Park praying hard for God to help you so that you can get out of suffers' corner by getting a good job, decent spouse and juniors. Once you achieve this, you go back to the main stream church like PAG Bahati, CITAM Buru et all.

the prophet thing i don't believe it it especially coming for an ...(hate speech)!

Atoti, Its ok. They said the same about Jesus. What we should pray for is the gift of the Holy Spirit to discern what is true and what is not, irrespective of where we gather for worship. And as for judging, be careful my sister oh! lest the same measure is used against you.

Teresia Wairimu - prophet!

Did she prophesy that she would divorce Nelson!

Did she prophesy that she would henceforth remain "single"!

We hope she has remained celibate since the divorce - a hard sell indeed!

Spare us the hypocrisy!

What attack - asking if she is celibate or celebrated!

It's a fact that she is a divorcee no attack there!

All I am trying to tell the naive is that such a character can NEVER be anybodies prophet.

Using the Word for self enrichment and aggrandisement - that's her.

Or are we supposed to follow her unquestioningly!

I dare say here she has (a) Boyfriend(s).

This can not be legitimate in her faith - ama!

Why do they always prophesies on controversies and doom/deaths? Never heard them give prophesy on Oil discovery, Presence of huge coal deposits in Londokwe etc. Some of these "prophets" are known to visit witchdoctors, some strip naked in forests and other weird engagements and we rush to call them men and women of the cloth!

You may be right. Actually, I have not come across one who said we will discover oil or give optimism. In the old testament, one prophet would prophesy the end of captivity to people of God. Nowadays I only hear that an earthquake is coming, God is killing people, there will be war outbreak but ends up saying we can reverse all these through prayer. I am very skeptical taking all that a Pastor talks to me about and especially while saying they are speaking on God's behalf.

I beseech you to stop this. Whether you like it or not, she is used of God in many other areas where you can never be used. God did not use those who are perfect even in the old testament. Please withdraw your hatred and stopping raising a finger against an anointed of God

The city's sirens don't sound when all is well, but when there's destruction.

But all prophecy ends in restoration. All truth is good news.
