Somehow I want Jimnah or Kidero to win this race not for party affiliation but just that Nairobi has always shunned the professional gentleman. Consider it done.

That's exactly it! And I can bet on the class of people who will be in the guest list.

The guy's on top don't understand the guys down there yet they hold the deciding vote. Jimnah has done a lot for Kenya but only for the new and old rich people who won't matter.

BBI will solve it

NCBDA chairman Timothy Muriuki, Lee Muchiri and Waweru have stepped out of the gibbernatorial race for Jimnah Mbaru.

ION: On wednesday 16th at Jan, 2013 at Hilton he will be presenting plans to build 0.5M low cost houses in Nairobi, mobilising resources in new ways and adding Kes, 3B to the city economy.

.......now that is how the politics of nairobi should go!!!!

That is where Mbaru is going wrong. Why Hilton? He should have chosen a venue like Kariobangi,Mathare,Dandora where there are voters. At this rate,Waititu and Sonko may lead the city.

Waititu na Sonko wako mbele sana.... if the numbers from the lowly masses are anything to go by. Watu wako mashinani.

the race for Nairobi governor will be decided by slum dwellers on jan 17, this you can take to the bank. Most of the middle class would be working on thursday. On another note, the middle class have a higher voter apathy. Some say they don't have the time, others are not registered, are working, others are abstaining or simply they don't like any candidate.

A Mbaru/Kidero showdown would be the best news for Nairobi. Either way it goes, its a win. Lets see how 17th goes.

Both Mbaru and Kidero are known THIEVES! is this what you want for the capital city; have thieving Governor or you don't have a choice.

DITTO!!Kidero has that matter of Nasewa land in Busia which he fraudulently sold to Kaplony Ltd while at Mumias sugar, his right hand man at Mumias was a well known motorvehicle dealer,he mismanaged Mumias sugar by acquiring a Cogeneration plant way beyond the capacity of raw materials to be able to eat,he conspired with Tom Alila to defraud UBA bank 36m,he sold sugar at a throaway prices to an Eastleigh businessman,he appointed a guy who scored a D+ and never went beyond that as Head of Sales, among other ills.

Some people just don't get it-presenting some plans for slum upgrade or low cost housing or whatever for the poor in some plush hotel in town and to an audience composing of rich people is just comical. How does this guy expect to connect with the people with the votes-the people that matter? I love his kind of politics but............
