Reminds me of the case of the woman who fought hard to inherit a mzee's residential apartments. She won the battle but was shocked to find that the apartments had a huge outstanding mortgage which was eating up more than all the rent collected. After one month, she gave it up! Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

She should know as she was at the helm of Justice and Constitutional affairs Ministry, custodian of Declaration of Income, Assets and Liabilities forms from civil service.
