Between freedom and pambaa who is less evil?

The two are different. One is highly responsive to people's cries, at times undesirably too quick but has a good share of tricks in robbing mwananchi. He is a desperate populist, n harbours communist tendencies. He has really suffered fighting for the 2nd liberation but has left a trail of death n destruction. His actions during 2008 PEV are unforgivable.

The other, enjoys stolen wealth very selfishly, but I think he has not stolen anything himself. He is least responsive to public cries, is not in touch with pples problems if his poor record of public service is anything to go by as well as a very poor record of representing the pple of gatundu. He is a fence sitter n just watched as his own pple wallowed in utter neglect whereas he had the means/power to help them.

DANGER! DANGER!I told you this guy is planning nothing but communist trouble. Kenyatta paid for the land from wazungu's, Raila should produce proof showing otherwise.
1. Mandela let whites keep their farms in S.Africa, Kenyatta the same(and bought for the government through British grants and bought himself some from those fleeing as he was one of the wealthiest black Kenyans then)Sometimes it is better to let the past be. Raila thinks like Mugabe, that he can redistribute resources according to his fancies to every Kenyan a 1/16 acre communist style.
2. Kenyatta freely distributed huge tracts of land back to communities that lost their land in kirinyaga mwea, ahero, rongai, burnt forest, eldoret and set up schemes for the poor to help themselves, but he could NOT reasonably just GIVE AWAY all the land. The Maasai got back the biggest tracts Chief Samuel Koriata is the largest land owner amongst other maasai in Kenya and not Kenyatta as some are led to believe, did he steal land??? wazungus were selling and the government was given money to buy? Delamere Soysambu (almost 800sq Km) and Kuki Gallman (400sq KM of land!), Graig Douglas- lewa conservancy (250sq kms) and so on will he grab back this and give every Kenyan an eighth acre??

And OAR has vowed to tax all idle land.

This means my undeveloped plot in Utawala, Kitengela will be taxed from March 5. Also my 2 acre farm in the village that's lying farrow.

Now the Kibera member says that uhuru to give back "stolen" land. Anyone dare explain which land the class seven fellow is talking of?

Collapsed companies due to their socialist politics in Kibera Mp's real home area:

Kisumu Cotton Mills (Kicomi), Kibos Rice Mills, Miwani Sugar, Kenya Matches, Lake Victoria Fish Company, the Kenya Breweries Kisumu plant, cotton ginneries and the provincial headquarters.

Suba District that gives about 70 per cent of fish for export, has no bank, and no district hospital. It also leads in HIV prevalence in the whole country.

And with two presidents to boot with their "capitalist ideologies" Gatondo and Othaya still has the highest number of Jiggers per capita in East and Central Africa plus the community from a certain tribe forms the largest squatters anywhere in the world.

If you cant turn your idle land to productive use then do the honorable thing and lease it out.

Raila said land acquired through dubious ways would be restored to public use.

Why does Uhuru think he is the target!!

I thought it is Ruto who should be worried more about this.

As for Uhuru, it's Wetangula who targeted him in regard to land ownership/reform.

Land is useless if utilised in stupid ways. If delmonte can own hundreds of thousands of acres in the middle of central next to Kenyattas home without "politics" while American dominion farm tried in yala nyanza to do the same and was forced out by Odommo politics after investing billions, do you think any useful ideas on economics of land use can come from the same? It will be useless land! If you want to turn it into an emotive issue, then we have even given zebras, gazelles, monkeys and so on a lot of land in Kenya and yet some people don't have. Does it make sense? This is the reasoning that keeps central rich and nyanza poor. It is for the common good, the redistribution of land at independence may not have been perfect but it was a good example for Independent Africa and the world, even Mandela followed a similar model. You can't keep trying to remodel a past that has been built by sound economic reasoning.

BUNGOMA, KENYA: Prime Minister Raila Odinga has hit out at Jubilee Alliance leaders Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto saying that they should be ready to return looted property.

He noted that the duo should live to the responsibility that comes with the Jubilee year as stipulated in the Bible.

“They have land they acquired illegally and they should be ready to surrender it,” he added.
