The ever station-hoping Jaluo has moved to All Kenyan All the time. But how does he compare with the Bench king Jeff. I go with Jeff, any time. Why? Do you think Loiuz can interview a mama mboga?

No one should read this, sorry if you have read it already, you can unread it...

Otieno is yet to mature. He thinks that he is a star and really gets over excited before the cameras!! Jeff is way ahead of Louis.

You comparing Nairobi river with Athi river? Jeff is in the big league brother and i would rather him any time.

He is not good at news but for his brain child 'all Kenyans.....allll the time' he really proved himself beyond doubt that it is not a fluke but a very well thought out, planned and executed wonderful program almost close to Larry King live. Have you noticed how stale the program turns out when hosted by others

If Jeff were to hopp off K24 it would be distater for the station period. Give credit where it is due,i just think he takes his job seriously, plans and researches well.

@ll,stop hating on Louis. Used to share a barber with him @scissors,20th century (b4 I went broke) and he was kinda cool. You see,Loius and Jeff aren't competing at K24. They're complementing one another. Even if he-Loius- is proud, well, thats his weakness. I'm more interested in his skills -can't fault that - not his character. Suzanne Kibukosya (ooh,Gachukia) or some other ageing mama should be concerned about his character.

I don't know. Therefore I ask.

I think they both have their own niche. I don't see them in competition. I like Jeff he's in a class of his own. I don't mind Louis,he's the first kenyan journalist I saw who was impartial when all the rest took sides and were afraid.

@Impunity

There was a big story there,I forget the name but there was a magazine that even featured Loius and his life story not a long time ago. And the name is actually Suzanne Kibukosya, not Susan Kiboswa. Both him and the old gril ( both married then) were each other's mipango ya kando...then,wacha tu.

Jeff's horizons are broader, and he has extensive exposure on the international scene (remember his CNN stint,Niger delta fiasco,Asian girlfriend) while Louis is not that exposed, but is desperately a Larry King wannabe . Really, you can't compare them as Jeff is a way ahead .And yes,its a truism Louis has an ego the size of a small planet.

What surprised even his diehard surporters is that he left his young wife and moved in with the old mama suzzane who was also married. But thats beside the point, the guy need to grow up.

Well for jeff,l thought he should have joined an international media house like aljazeera instead of wasting himself locally.

Easy on Louis. Who ever saw a good anchor without a bloated ego? Look out for the movie called 'Broadcast News' starring Jack Nicholson and see what I mean. I loved Louis' mother when I was a kid - who remembers that Saturday morning kids program she used to present on VOK?

@ akowally,

Hapiness is relative. The way k24 is run looks very local for somebody who was used to an international audience. He should have worked in an international media and then start his own media in his sunset days.

Folks,

I think no international station would have touched Jeff with 10 ft pole at the time owing to the unsavoury things he was being accused of about the time he was leaving CNN. With his career space shrinking that fast,he must have really had little choice when a local station offered him a soft landing ground as he licked his wounds. K24 will be his springboard to bounce back to the orbit of intern. stations like Al Jzr. He is a big fish in small pond.

Jeff is way ahead because of more exposure and experience. Louis is a talented chap but his ego stinks. However, his(Louis) extra-marital affairs are his own problem though it does not serve him well for his image. I would like to see them work in complementary roles and build another tv powerhouse to counter Ktn and cohorts.

Feel the fear but do it anyway.
It's amazing what you can achieve when you get rid of fear.
