As per the new Katiba, GSU and police are calle police service and no more called police force.

They wont use any force to bring order even if you hang them by their crystal balls; they are there to do services like collecting dead bodies and bury them in mass graves.

SAD!!!

more deaths in Tana... Mathare chaos continue... in ongata rongai a councillor went missing yesterday and only his blood stained car has been found as at now. Residents have been protesting and burning tyres all daylong along magadi road.

Am one of those stubborn optimists but i am getting a bad feeling about this election.
It calls to mind the words of PB Shelley's ode to the west wind "if winter comes, can spring be far behind?

I wish a stubbornly optimistic wazuan can tell me it will still be fine.

@muchknow, i can see you have already given up on kenya's ability to confront her problems. maybe you are writing from the diaspora. For some of us who do not even have a passport, we cannot give up. its the audacity of hope.

Never give up, I have not given up on us. I am not in diaspora, right here in Kenya 'in the trenches" deeper than you could imagine.

"It is said that humans evolved from Africa but seeing the going on in this continent, I very much doubt so.This piece of God's land has everything going for it.Huge agricultural land, minerals of all sorts, gems, oil and gas and yet has in most parts a beggar status.Apparently what God did not give them was brains to think for themselves".

That's a commenter from CNN news from Africa. Such is how we are viewed by others when we behave like barbarians. Nkt.

And yet we see nothing promising from the so called kenyan leaders. How can we watch people slaughtering each other in this magnitude? Dont the politicians vow to protect the kenyan constitution which gives the kenyan people central attention?
Must we watch when violation of human rights blossom and human blood flowing like a river? Where is our children going to be in future? For this I hold Kibaki administration completely to blame. We can do better than this.
