Am shopping for a good health insurance policy. one that includes maternity. Any suggestions?

I doubt. A health insurance company from Europe just acquired 20something% stake worth over Kshs.300m. Why would they be doing this if not to grow it? I'm more doubtful about AAR though....

Jubilee and UAP are the leading players, Real insurance also revamped their health product you may want to check them out as well

Why is it all over sudden when I visit the hospital I'm told to cough out sijui 500.00 or 200.00 co-payment before being checked I think previously we didnt have this in Resolution, any one who is in the know?

They have 2 products. One is cheaper and has a co pay at Nairobi Hosp, Aga Khan & GGCH. The other is more expensive but exempts you from this. For mine, the same applies but only to the three hospitals.

And they have maternity cover BUT it has a 10 month waiting period.. So you buy BEFORE you get pregnant.. They have up to 200k cover for maternity.

My experience with AAR was not good, we argued too much with each other but its a personal opinion, they are probably not that bad.
