As the rest of Kenyan's were planning to retire for the day last evening, the pigs in the Pigsty were hard at work tailoring some golden parachutes.

i. there shall be a state funeral whenever any of the 222 pigs dies after this term..

ii. All pigs will be entitled to a bodyguard for the remainder of their lives!

iii. All pigs and their dependants will be accorded VIP status in all facilities.

vi. A cabinet monster will have the benefit of a state paid driver to chauffer.

What is mind numbing is the send-off package for the Big One's. It surprises me how our poor country is so rich when it comes to the excesses and largesse accorded to these Pigs.

I'm numbed by shock. i never thought the Pig's would go this far.

I dont know whether to be agitated or pitiful with these lot.

The funny thing is that if they were humble and actually did their jobs well, they wouldn't need bodyguards, no one would mind them jumping a queue in an airport and I'm sure the people would, for some of them at least, request they be given a state funeral or x number of days of mourning them for their dedication and long service once they die.

Yaani these guys had to legislate all that? Talk about shortcuts.

Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has rejected the retirement emoluments parliament passed on wednesday night, saying his time for retire is not yet. He called for its removal, but said President Kibaki , VP Kalonzo Musyoka and Prime MInister Raila Odinga should get their benefits because their time to retire is nigh.

Please, Unakubali ama Unakataa??? Wish he could not drag poli ticks into the statement.
