Thank you @nostoppingthis for not using an ethnic title for your thread. In my opinion, that makes you a better Citizen of the Virtual Republic, my opinion. Self interest. That is what I perceive among the Agikuyu community. The rich among the Agikuyu put their self interest in the preservation of their wealth by seeking a non Mugikuyu as a President. The poor among the Agikuyu will follow the Junior of the Fly Whisk Carrier wherever he leads to, for if he defended during PEV, then he will defend them in the future as opposed to Mutukufu Rais who did not raise a finger. This works well for Son of Ngina. The Middle Class, as usual where matters such as these are concerned, have no clue what they want for who ever wins or looses, they will still survive. But then again, I stand to be corrected for I did not registers as a voter.

Sometimes its worth it not to do other things done blindly by the masses. I for once emphatically voted NO for the new katimba and its on record! I have never regretted that decision and never will...when I see some noisy wazuans shouting their mouths wide open cursing Mpigs for r*ping the new katiba I usually feel like shoving a hot rock in there. Otherwise why do you think Son of Jomo and WSR have decided to so stubbornly refuse to listen to the geezers? The brevity is actually paying off.. The west is the other obstacle.. If you hear UMK talk of his local created enemies.. he is quite authoritative.. but when it comes to the West.. its as if he begs them to...

I think it would have been wise to register and then later decide whether to vote or not especially in the run-off if it happens. Now others will have to decide for you. No matter how powerless you may feel you should register, you might never know what will happen.

The article isn't all wrong. If there will be sanctions we know who will suffer most. I wonder if the Mungiki spokesman(self proclaimed) would be considered brave, if say, he went to PK's side or Ole Kiyapi's instead of being CORDED. Are we seeing things only in our own biased way- depending on which side we are politically?
