The president has no such powers. Period. Kama hakusoma ile katiba alipitisha, shauri yake.

Note to him. Even if he built the roads, roadside declarations are over.

Eh?
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

I also feel the orezzo has the powers to call for the INVESTIGATION of anything, but to what extent? forming a team? Does it mean these Constitutional office holders are 100% free of presidential influence? If the IGP decides to go rogue, the president shall remain a lame duck? Are we interpreting our katiba with the strictness of an islamic extremist?

kenyans are like the small boys who face the knife (or the needle and scapel) after class 8 and feel that they are on top of the world, only to go to form one and realize - kuna wanaume wengine.

On several occasions, the Executive and the AG have worked at cross purposes;

County Commissioners case, the AG disowned the Executive.

On the CEO's appointment of Visram, Kilukumi and Githu, the then AG disagreed and went ahead to make presentations in court against the Executive.

May be that's just a tip of the iceberg

not particularly for this case. but a bit afraid. what will happen in case the board and CEO/IG do not take action. what would be the recourse and how long will that take to happen, say parliament, which I assume is one of the bodies that can take action is on recess.
